My son and I always enjoy eating here. This is where he chose for his 12 birthday with family and we had a really wonderful meal and celebration with the kindest service. Aubergine exceptional and bento boxes fantastic value .

I ordered the chicken ramen, it was really good, rich salty flavourful broth with what I thought was cabbage but now know is Wood Ear Mushroom (tasty!) which absorbed the flavour of the broth well while still being a good difference in texture. The chicken was a bit dry and plain to my tastes but it's okay considering it's drenched in really flavourful broth but will probably opt for a seafood ramen next time because the mouthfeel of dry chicken isn't the greatest but still I near cleaned my bowl. Came with Bok Choy/Pak Choi which was really refreshing alongside some corriader, do keep in mind they serve the corriader from leaf to stem so you may bite into corriader stem so if you have the soap gene do request it be excluded. The egg was lovely, it was hard boiled, I don't know if you can request a jammy/soft boil egg but worth a shot if that's your preference. Signage was very straightforward in terms of communication around the restaurant being cash or bank transfer only, I like that they opted to include a bank transfer option and not just cash only really convenient but there's a cashpoint a few doors down at the Sainsbury's if needed. The atmosphere was very chill I went at around 3pm so that's to be expected and the service was quick. Definitely enjoyed a nice steaming warm bowl of ramen on a rainy autumn day :) will come again and try some different things another time!

Amazing food, amazing service and very kind, friendly staff. Really enjoyed all the food, especially the chicken katsu curry rice (pictured) and the sushi (I dont remember the 3rd dish's name). Would visit again. Amazing restaurant!

Lovely local sushi spot with lots of options at very low cost. I loved the quality to be honest and the smiling service. The London Sushi was my favourite! We had plenty of sushi and paid less than 20 each. The atmosphere is a bit basic but let’s fill this place up so they can afford a manor refurbishment. Recommended!!

A very intimate and cosy Japanese restaurant tucked away near New Cross and New Cross gate stations. Their menu covers bentos, hand rolls, platters and noodles. The bentos tend to range between the 10-16. There are plenty of vegetarian options as well! Service was very prompt and friendly and the food served tasted amazing!

This place is beyond 5 stars, the customer service is great, the workers are so lovely! Me and my family come here almost every week and I've introduced so many people to this place and they all love it! I highly recommend the chicken udon , I've tried lots of udon from different places and this is the best udon I've ever had. I highly recommended the salmon sashimi and bento boxes! For desserts the vanilla panna cotta is a must have. Affordable prices with no service charge.

Came here after getting some tattoos and I absolutely loved it!! Before I get in to the review this place does cash or bank transfer only so just keep that in mind!!! The food/menu reminded me of Eat Tokyo in central London but honestly this was X10 better!! My friend got the seafood udon and I got a katsu curry bento and then some soft shell crab sushi roll to share, the food came fast and was super fresh everything was crispy and warm, the fish tasted really nice and not slimy like some sushi can be, the reasturant is on the smaller side but the atmosphere was cosy and the owners always speak so nicely and politely to everyone!! If you are eyeing this on Google maps this is your sign to eat here :)

Great food, excellent customer service, and really good value for money. I was the only person in the restaurant when I popped in for an early lunch today - and I really appreciated that the staff didn’t make me feel uncomfortable by watching me as I ate! The staff were very discreet, but there when I needed them. There’s quite a few vegetarian options on the menu, and I chose the Vegetarian Bento: which was delicious and had quite generous portions. I couldn’t eat all of the bento, so I’m glad I didn’t order a starter too. I also had the Jasmine Tea - and I loved that they served it traditionally in a teapot with yunomi style teacups. Longing to return to Japan now! I highly recommend this restaurant.
